Our reconstruction of an Iron Age village has been made using similar raw materials to those used in 700BC, including tree trunks, straw for roofing, bracken and turf.
Iron Age villagers would have kept their animals close to hand to protect them from predators, such as wolves. How many animals can you find around the village?
They preserved their grain in deep pits lined with reeds and capped with a wooden lid.
They also liked a pint of beer which they brewed from barley!
